The Western University in Ontario, Canada are advertising for applicants for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Applied Linguistics and English as a Second Language.
The position involves conducting research, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising graduate research and directing the Western Language Bridging Program. The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Applied Linguistics, SLA, TESOL or related as well as a TESOL qualification, and appointment may be made as early as 1st July 2012. Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority, but applications are encouraged from all suitable candidates.
