The 45th Annual Meeting of the British Association for Applied Linguistics will take place on 6 – 8 September 2012 at the University of Southampton. The overarching theme of this year’s meeting is ‘Multilingual Theory and Practice in Applied Linguistics’.
Highfield Campus, where the conference will take place is two miles north of the city centre. According to the conference organisers:
Highfield Campus is easily accessible by car via M3 and M27. Southampton also has very good rail services to Southampton Central (from the southwest) and to Southampton Airport Parkway (from London and the north) and the Unilink bus service provides direct buses to the campus from the city centre and from Parkway. Southampton airport has a good range of regional services and is located next to Parkway station.
