Articles are invited by the Journal of the National Council of Less Commonly Taught Languages. The journal focusses on themes of policy, education, programs, advocacy, and research in the field of Less commonly Taught Languages (LCTLs), and welcomes contributions on topics such as:
- Methodology and Technology
- Beyond Academia
- Social embeddedness
Anonymised manuscripts, up to a maximum length of 20 pages (excluding references, charts, notes, etc.), and formatted in accordance to the 6th edition of the APA manual, are to be submitted electronically (as .doc files) to the Editor (Danko.Sipka[at]asu[dot]edu) and copied to the Secretariat (secretariat[at]ncolctl[dot]org). The manuscripts should be double-line spaced throughout, including notes, references, and tables, using 12-point Times New Roman font with a 1.5 inch left margin, and accompanied by a 150-word (maximum) abstract and a cover sheet containing the manuscript title, and the authors’ name(s), affiliation(s) and contact information.
In order to be considered for the Spring 2014 issue of the journal, manuscripts should be submitted by October 1, 2013.
