Call for papers
Contributions in English linguistics are invited for volume 23 of Anglica: An International Journal of English Studies, a peer-reviewed annual print journal published by Warsaw University Press. Some suggested topics include:
- language synchrony and diachrony
- sociolinguistics
- language contact.
Papers should not exceed 12 pages in length (27.000 characters with spaces), including the reference section and notes, and should be accompanied by a 100-word abstract and a 50-word biographical note. Papers should be submitted by email as .doc and .pdf attachments to the associate editor, Dr. Anna Wojtyś (a.wojtys[at]uw.edu[dot]pl).
The deadline for submissions is 30 April 2014. All papers will undergo ‘double blind’ review by two independent reviewers. Notification of acceptance will be given by 30 June 2014, and the issue will be published by the end of September 2014.
